4th of July Festival & Parade

The Town of Blowing Rock Fourth of July Parade and Festival happens the first Saturday of every July. Typically, there is a parade at 10:00am followed by music and fun. 

Halloween Festival

Every year Blowing Rock Parks and Recreation puts on a free, fun, Halloween Festival with day full of spooky activities! From downtown trick-or-treating to the famous Monster March, carnival games, and hayrides, this is among the best Halloween events for kids of ALL ages. Located in Memorial Park, right in the middle of downtown, families are able to participate in all sorts of activities.

Christmas Festival & Parade

 Christmas in the Park is a two-day festival that brings in the holiday spirit! This typically happens, weather dependent, around the weekend of Thanksgiving. There's photos with Santa, games, and the lighting of the Town on Friday - followed by an incredible Christmas Parade on Saturday at 10:00am. 

Easter Festival & Egg Hunt

Each year the Parks & Recreation Department hosts an Easter Egg Hunt that's a can't miss! The hunt is separated by age groups to give a fun and fair egg hunt and it's definitely a fan favorite. Bring a basket and join us!
